Houston | 3D Cities

The 713

Nothing is small in Houston. Maybe in the 1830s, when two brothers bought the land, lobbied the state to make it the capital, and incorporated the city, but not any more. Now Houston is the largest city in Texas, home to the most Fortune 500 companies outside of New York City, and an international powerhouse of economy, culture, and energy.

Our 3D models of Houston are generated from high-resolution laser scans from 2018, so include every major building downtown, including the iconic new 609 Main at Texas. The standard-size piece covers downtown from the Allen Center Parking Garage on the east, to parts of Buffalo Bayou on the north, Harris County Sheriff's Office and Courthouse in the northeast, Minute Maid Park on the east, I-69 and a corner of East Downtown in the southeast corner, I-45 and the Toyota Center on the south, and 2016 Main and parts of Midtown to the southwest. And you get more than just the skyscrapers - you'll see the oval parking ramps over San Jacinto and Fannin Streets, the geometric forms of Pennzoil Place, the trees in Sam Houston Park, and all the other little details that give a city its true life. Place an order online here or on our Etsy store, and receive a carefully-packaged, remarkably detailed conversation piece for your home or office.

While our 8”x8” MiniCty models are standard, we also offer a variety of larger sizes to satisfy any desire. Sizes include 12”, 16”, 24”, 30”, 36”, up to a wall-covering 54”x54”. As the prints get larger, the buildings get bigger and the detail increases! But you get a lot more than simply buildings from MiniCty - you get every tree, bus, hill, park, bridge, and detail, and the largest prints include every car, fence, chimney, spire, and shrub! Check out the shop for prices, and ask us if you don’t see the size you want. We do custom work as well - just contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss your project!
