Ann Arbor | 3D Cities

Could this be the best big little city in the United States? Initially populated by the Potawatomi tribe, Ann Arbor got its name in 1824 from two settlers named “Ann”, but its future was forever changed when it invited the University of Michigan to move its permanent site in 1837. Since then, Ann Arbor has been a cultural hub of the midwest, and grown to become one of the best small cities in the US to live, work, and raise a family. MiniCty’s founder, Mark Stock, spent many (many, many) years studying there, so it was a no-brainer to bring this “big little city” to our collection.

This model is in 1:10000 scale, the same as all of our other models, so it was no problem including the entire downtown, from the train tracks to the Hill area, and Packard up to the medical center. The city was laser scanned in 2016, so the model is missing a few residential buildings erected since then, but contains all of the familiar landmarks, including the Grad Library, Hill dorms, Power Center, Burton Tower, First National Building, and the tallest in the city: 267-foot-tall Tower Plaza. We hope you enjoy our 3D model of Ann Arbor!

While our 8”x8” MiniCty models are standard, we also offer a variety of larger sizes to satisfy any desire. Sizes include 12”, 16”, 24”, 30”, 36”, up to a wall-covering 54”x54”. As the prints get larger, the buildings get bigger and the detail increases! But you get a lot more than simply buildings from MiniCty - you get every tree, bus, hill, park, bridge, and detail, and the largest prints include every car, fence, chimney, spire, and shrub! Check out the shop for prices, and ask us if you don’t see the size you want. We do custom work as well!
